Full Membership
Full members of the RBA are independent bridalwear retailers without affiliation to chains or franchises who have been trading for a minimum of five years from dedicated retail premises and therefore subject to business rates and are registered for VAT, with a minimum turnover of £180,000 including VAT.
Associate Membership
This is open to shops who have been trading between one to five years and who are trading from a dedicated retail premises and therefore registered for busines rates (you may be exempt but need to be registered). You will have access to all the support and expertise of the RBA which is an invaluable resource to a new bridal retail shop. Please see below comparison table for what is included in this brand new offer.
Affiliate Membership
This is for retail shops who also work as agents separate to their shop. The cost and benefits of full membership are applied, but this membership cannot sit on the Executive Council. Strict rules on the membership groups (WhatsApp/Facebook) must also be followed i.e. no selling or interacting with members as an agent, only with your retailer hat on!
Membership enquiries are welcome from any bridalwear or men's formalwear retailer that fulfils the minimum criteria.

Pricing:
Single full membership** (one shop) is £350+VAT or you can opt for the monthly payment of £36 per month
Dual full membership** (2 shops) is £525+VAT or £54 per month
Associate membership** is £500+VAT (no monthly payment option available on this membership type)
Affiliate membership is £350+VAT or you can opt for the monthly payment of £36 per month
**Please be aware that all successful membership applications are subject to a shop visit from our executive committee and this incurs a fee of £100+VAT (if it is not possible to do a in person shop visit, due to Covid restrictions, then we will arrange a virtual one and an in person visit will follow when circumstances allow)
